ABOUT US

RNA Australia’s Role

We oversight the operator of the Pilot RNA Manufacturing Facility, including ensuring that the Facility and associated licenses are maintained and that the operator is meeting KPIs.

We are the primary point of contact (‘front door’) for the NSW RNA ecosystem, helping universities access the facility, and promoting, supporting and connecting the RNA ecosystem.
We do this by supporting sustainable operations, advancing research and commercialisation of leading RNA technologies, and accelerating development of new products, services, and vaccines.
We also aim to expand RNA applications across medicine, agriculture, and biosecurity, improve access to advanced therapies for humans and animals, strengthen collaboration between research and industry, and foster the skills needed for innovation and manufacturing.
